macromorphologyScarce 65 cm tall succulent barrel cactus, widely scattered through the region; ribbed cylinder. Yellow petals. Stem ribs taken from fallen plant (Different individual) in wash farther west that wasa filled with hundreds of cactus syrphid maggots.
