macromorphology2 feet tall, rhizomatous, one of 8-10 closely spaced clumps. Leaves blue-green, V-shaped in cross section, numerous from base, also cauline. With Cyperus involucratus, Mimulus cardinalis, Salix sp.
associated speciesIn shade of Quercus agrifolia and Platanus racemosa. Understory burned in Oct. 2003 Cedar Fire, weedy.
