Notes | Erodium is main cover on main ditch bank s. of rd. Both E. botrys and obtusiplicatum - thoroughly mixed up usually. There is a considerable colony of Stipa pulchra and another (further e. near curve) of Lomatium tomentosum - both of these indicate little disturbance in recent years. The size of the Erodium varies from spot to spot remarkably. The two sps. readily distinguished on (1) the red edge of a sepal and (2) the dark red of the base of main stem in otusiplicatum - lack of such color on botrys.; | ||||
