HabitatA fairly large open wash with steep canyon walls. With Pinus monophylla, Juniperus osteosperma, Yucca brevifolia, Y. schidigera, Salix, Quercus john-tuckerii, Baccharis salicifolia, Opuntia chlorotica, Echinocereus engelmanii, E. mojavensis, Chilopsis linearis, Rhus trilobata, Ephedra viridis, Eriogonum inflatum, Gutierriezia microcephala.
