HabitatBarren rounded ridge line, gravelly soil; red fir forest over the northwest-facing side; lots of barrens continuing down the southeast side. Ericameria greenei the most common (still) green plant here, plus scattered Wyethia mollis, E. nauseosa var. oreophila, Eriogonum nudum var. nudum, Eriogonum umbellatum var. smallianum.
