HabitatGenerally serpentine - cobbly, gravelly, sandy loam , scree, rock. Rock outcrops, moderate to steep slopes. Associates: Pinus sabiniana, Quercus, Ceanothus, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Lupinus spp., Eriophyllum lanatum, Allium spp,. Mimulus spp.
