HabitatAn open narrow ridgeline of carbonate soils in a burnt forest with Cercocarpus ledifolius, Rhus trilobata, Fremontodendron californicum, Solanum xanti, Erysimum capitatum, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Abronia nana ssp. covillei, Eriogonum microthecum var. corybosoides, Caulanthus major, Arenaria macradenia, Astragalus bicristatus, Descurainia pinnata, Draba cuneifolia, and Bromus tectorum.
