HabitatCollecting along the main western drainage in a microphyll woodland of Olneya tesota, Cercidium floridum, and Psorothamnus spinosus, and also with Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Hymenoclea salsola, Ephedra, Chilopsis linearis, Stephanomeria pauciflora, Psorothamnus emoryi, Encelia frutescence, Porophyllum gracille, Palafoxia arida, Stillingia linearifolia, Tiquilia plicata, Phacelia crenulata, Plantago ovata, Malacothrix glabrata and Raphinesquia neomexicana.
