HabitatSandy desert floor. Creosote bush scrub with Ambrosia dumosa dominate. Associates: Pleuraphis rigida, Palafoxia arida var. arida, Pectis papposa var. papposa, Eriogonum species (lots of skeletons), Oenothera (skeletons), Chorizanthe rigida (skeletons), Camissonia boothii (skeletons), Kallstroemia californica, Stillingia spinulosa.
