HabitatCollecting on a small knob/hill of carbonate with some outcroppings and slopes of decomposed granite. With Pinus monophylla, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Quercus, Fremontodendron californicum, Argemone munita, Penstemon grinnellii, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Acnatherum hymenoides, Opuntia basilaris, Oxytheca parishii var. goodmaniana, Mimulus johnstonii, Solanum xanti. and Gilia breccarium.
