HabitatA small stand of unburnt forest in an other wise largely burnt area with Pinus jeffreyi, Abies concolor, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Penstemon grinnellii, Symphoricarpos rotundifolia, Erysimum capitatum, Phlox dolichantha, Silene veracunda, Galium parishii, Pedicularis semibarbata, Poa pratensis, and Bromus tectorum.
