Locality Central portion of Bristol Mountains, west of Kelbaker Road, south of Interstate 40, pass at crest of the range along gas pipeline road, just west of Orange Blossom Wash.

HabitatRocky slopes dominated by volcanic substrates. Vegetation on slopes and fan an open scrub of Larrea tridentata, Encelia farinosa, and Ambrosia dumosa; dense growth of young winter annuals, incl. Camissonia brevipes, Chaenactis spp., Erodium texanum, Lotus strigosus (=Lotus tomentellus), Phacelia crenulata, and Plantago ovata.
