Associated species include: Ceanothus greggii, Fremontodendron californicum, Prunus virginiana demissa, Salix lasiolepis, Stachys albens, Scutellaria siphocampyloides, Lactuca serriola (mosty flat rosettes as the stocks were eaten off), Solidago californica, Nama rothrockii, Frasera neglecta, Penstemon grinnellii, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Muhlenbergia rigens, Melica stricta, Elymus elymoides, Bromus tectorum, Stipa occidentalis, S. parishii, and Carex subfusca. Growing on dry slope.;|
