HabitatCoarse soils, full sun. Former chaparral/scrub oak association, completely burned in Station Fire (2009). Currently rich assemblage of mostly native annuals and seedling/stump sprouting perennial shrubs and trees, including; Gilia leptantha ssp. transversa, Vulpis octoflora, Lotus strigosus, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Calyptridium monandrum, Lupinus concinnus, Eriodictyon crassifolium nigrescens, Cryptantha nevadensis var. rigida, Quercus john-tuckeri, Malacothrix clevelandii, Mentzelia veatchiana, Arctostaphylos glauca, Camisssonia confusa.
