Associated with Atriplex hymenelytra, Tamarix, Pluchea, Amsinckia tesselata, Schismus barbatus, Brassica tournifortii, Cryptantha angustifolia, Malacothrix glabrata, Eremalche exilis, Malacothrix coulteri, Pectocarya recurvata, Astragalus lentiginosus var. borreganus, Cryptantha maritima, Machaeranthera arida, Sesuvium verrucosum, Panicum urvilleanum.
