HabitatOn an open semi-shady dry rocky bench above creek growing in sandy/loamy soil with an overstory of Pinus poderosa, Abies concolor, Salix sp., Cercocarpus ledifolius, and associated with Rosa californica, Eriogonum umbellatum var. munzii, and Elymus elymoides.
