HabitatTransition area from Arctostaphylos patula dominated scrub to open Pinus ponderosa woodland. Open sandy 15-degree S-facing slope below decomposing granite outcrops. With Cercocarpus ledifolius, Juniperus occidentalis, Quercus chrysolepis, Eriogonum wrightii, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Bromus tectorum.
