Notes | <coords cont.: SE1/4>; Gentle southwest sloping, open meadow, with small springs draining down into a small pond, that has concrete dam wall, and concrete drainage out, on the west side of pond. Small conifer area on the upper east side of meadow, chaparral on surrounding slopes. Nice view to the south with San Gorgonio Mountain, and the canyons eminently seen from the northern side of San Gorgonio Wilderness. Associated plant species include: Pinus coulteri, P. jeffreyi, Ribes cereum, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, one small planted? Populus tremuloides, Horkelia rydbergii, Potentilla wheeleri, Leymus triticoides, Bromus inermis, Deschampsia cespitosa, Carex hassei, C. lemmonii, C. subfusca, C. nebrascensis, Eleocharis sp., Helenium bigelovii, Tragopogon dubius, Oxypolis occidentalis, Sisyrinchium bellum, S. longipes, and Juncus effusus austrocalifornicus. Growing in dry area, yellow flowers.; | ||||||
