HabitatOn a steep rocky ridgeline/boulder pile with Pinus contorta ssp. murrayana, Pinus flexilis, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Holodiscus microphyllus, Chrysolepis sempervirens, Penstemon caesius, Silene veracunda ssp. platyota, Cystopteris fragilis, Arabis pulchra, Selaginella watsonii, Antennaria rosea, and Heuchera parishii.
