Locality SBNF: Upper Santa Ana River Watershed. Along FS Rd. 1N04, appx. 1 mi. due W of Seven Oaks Resort, near curve leading down to Mile Creek. Vague fire trail headed upslope from this location.

HabitatScattered across sandy openings & road edges. Disturbed road cutting through recovering recently burnt chaparral. Dominant shrubs include Adenostoma, Ceanothus, Chrysothamnus, Rhus, with scattered Quercus and Pinus spp. Herb layer dominated by Bromus tectorum, with Cryptantha, Cordylanthus, Gilia, Elymus.
