Locality Surveyed the two peaks above (southeast) of the upper meadow of Wildhorse Meadows. Started just above Wildhorse Spring near 34.20139N, 116.76743W, climbed to the saddle between the peaks near 34.19698N, 116.76080W., Climbed the southeast peak near 34.19370N, 116.76564W, then the northeast peak near 34.19940N, 116.75839W.

NotesGrowing on small knoll, above and south of Wildhorse Spring. Dry, rocky area. Associated species include: Pinus jeffreyi, P. contorta murrayana, Abies concolor, Juniperus occidentalis australis, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius parishii, Arctostaphylos patula, Cercocarpus leadifolius, Ribes cereum, Boechera parishii, Castilleja cinerea, C. applegatei martinii, Erigeron aphanactis, Phacelia austromontana, Festuca kingii, Elymus elymoides, Packera ionophylla, Silene verecunda platyota, Penstemon caesius, P. labrosus, and Cryptantha echinella.;
