Notes<coords cont.: SW1/4 of SE1/4>; Flat ridge area, loose white shale, rolling hill country, with drainages heading west toward Cuyama Valley. Drier land form, less grass, more open shrub land, with some sites heavy black cryptogamic soil. Associated species include: Juniperus californica, Ericameria linearifolia, Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Eremalche parryi kernensis, Lotus humistratus, Amsinckia tessellata gloriosa, Ancistrocarphus filagineus, Tetrapteron palmeri, Erodium cicutarium, Pectocarya setosa, P. penicillata, Eriophyllum pringlei, Guillenia lasiophylla, Lasthenia gracilis, Cryptantha nevadensis rigida, Schismus spp., and Sisymbrium altissimum.;
