HabitatOpen dry mixed coniferous forest on gentle S-slope. Soft decomposed granite soil supporting Pinus jeffreyi, Juniperus osteosperma, Quercus chrysolepis, Ceanothus cordulatus, Amelancier utahensis, Eriogonum wrightii, Stipa spp., Lotus argyraeus, Gilia leptantha, Bromus tectorum.
