HabitatSmall ridgetop opening with granitic outcrops and gravelly soil, surrounded by dense hard chaparral dominated by Ceanothus greggii var. perplexans. With occasional Quercus chaysolepis, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Bromus tectorum.
