HabitatSmall sandy opening along vague fire trail. Recovering chaparral dominated by Quercus chrysolepis, Arctostaphylos, Adenostoma fasciculatum, with occasional Pinus coulteri, Pseudotsuga macrocarpa. Disturbed decomposed granite soil with encroaching Eriodyction trichocalyx, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Rhus trilobata, Bromus tectorum.
