Locality S-facing slopes below conspicuous rounded basalt knob overlooking Interstate 15. Appx. 2.25 mi. WSW of Holloran Summit.

HabitatS-facing rocky slope of dark brown basalt with occasional granite and limestone. Mixed woody mojavean scrub with Yucca brevifolia, Y. schidigera, Coleogyne ramocissima, Thamnosma montana, Ephedra nevadensis, Porophyllum gracile, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Ferocactus cylindraceus, and common desert annuals.
