HabitatNarrow winding rocky drainage trending N, surrounded by large rounded granitic outcrops shedding deep decomposed granitic soil. With Pinus monophylla, Coleogyne ramocissima, Purshia glandulosa, Yucca brevifolia, Prunus fasciculata, Baccharus sergiloides, Ephedra spp., Hymenoclea salsola. Some evidence of grazing.
