HabitatMixed coniferous woodland on dry, soft, river-deposited decomposed granite soil. With Pinus spp., Abies, Chrysolepis sempervirens, Ledum glandulosum, Spirea densiflora, Arctostaphyllos patula, Eriogonum umbellatum.Occasional on sandy and rock open flats above river.
