Plant associates include: Salix lasiolepis, S. exigua, Pteridium aquilinum pubescens, Rosa californica, Oenothera elata hirsutissima, Verbascum thapsus, Juncus balticus, J. effusus, Mimulus guttatus, Rhamnus californica, Solidago californica, Lotus oblongifolius, Hoita orbicularis, Carex bolanderi, C subfusca, C. senta (large tussocks), Medicago lupulina, Festuca arundinacea, Dactylis glomerata, polypogon monspeliensis, Piptatherum miliaceum, and Chamaesyce serpyllifolia. Growing under some Salix.;
