HabitatYellow pine forest of Pinus ponderosa, P. coulteri, P. lambertiana, Abies concolor, Quercus kelloggii, etc. on granitic slopes with boulders and bedrock outcrops, decomposed granite soil. Drainages with Ribes nevadense, Potentilla glandulosa, Salix, Carex, Juncus, etc.
