Habitatrecently burned chaparral association on south facing slope, grading into mixed conifer woodland. Cobbly granitic substrate. Dominant species include: Sambucus mexicana, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Eriodictyon trichocalyx var. trichocalyx, Corethrogyne filaginifolia var. filaginifolia, Eriogonum elongatum var. elongatum, keckiella ternata var. ternata, Garrya flavescens
