Dominant species include: Sambucus mexicana, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Eriodictyon trichocalyx var. trichocalyx, Corethrogyne filaginifolia var. filaginifolia, Eriogonum elongatum var. elongatum, keckiella ternata var. ternata, Garrya flavescens
