Notes | Rocky and sandy river bed, with wide flat benches above some areas, and slopes of the canyon walls coming down to the edge of the river in others. Area burned last fall. Burned chaparral slopes, with Pinus monophylla, Juniperus californica, Arctostaphylos glauca, and Quercus chrysolepis, within canyon bottom, some survived the fire. Post fire bloom of fire followers, some include: Lupinus bicolor, L. microcarpus, Dichelostemma capitatum, Phacelia distans, P. brachyloba, P. douglasii, Malacothrix clevelandii, Thysanocarpus curvipes, Nama californicum, Allophyllum gilioides, Castilleja exserta, Mimulus fremontii, and Trifolium albopurpureum. Growing along slopes.; | ||||||
