HabitatSteep rocky slopes of cobbly-bouldery conglomerate formations, vegetation a scrub of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriodictyon tomentosum, Dendromecon rigida, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Salvia mellifera, Artemisia californica, Arctostaphylos glauca, Ceanothus cuneatus, Ceanothus oliganthus, Ceanothus integerrimus, Lepechinia calycina, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Mimulus aurantiacus, Quercus berberidifolia, Quercus agrifolia, Lotus scoparius, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Rhus trilobata, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, and Ribes malvaceum that had burned about 5-7 years earlier.
