HabitatSouth-facing slope of conglomerate outcropping with open, grassy benches of heavy soil, dominated by grassland. Selaginella bigelovii, Avena barbata, Erodium brachycarpum, Erodium cicutarium, Centaurea melitensis, and Dodecatheon clevelandii with a few scattered Baccharis pilularis, grading into scrub of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Dendromecon rigida, etc.
