Notes | Gentle gradient sandy bajada with braided wash channels. draining from very steep, rugged mountains. Spectacular spring blooms at this time. The yellow pollen from the Malacothrix glabrata coated the top of my boots yellow. Associated plants include: one large Tamarix aphylla tree, Larrea tridentata, and Ambrosia dumosa. Plus annuals of Rafinesquia neomexicana, Nama demissum, Abronia villosa, Oenothera deltoides, Gilia cana speciformis, Chylismia brevipes, C. claviformis, Eschscholzia minutiflora, Malacothrix coulteri, Eriogonum thomasii, Chaenactis stevioides, Dithyrea californica, and Cryptantha angustifolia.; | ||||||
