HabitatBajada of canyon, very coarse and dry granitic soil. Desert scrub. Associated species: Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Erodium cicutarium, Bromus tectorum, Salvia columbarie, Coreopsis bigelovii, Phacelia distans, Malacothrix glabrata, Anisocoma acaulis, and Camissonia claviformis.
