HabitatBouldery granitic hills, decomposed granite soil; pinyon-juniper woodland with Juniperus, Pinus monophylla, Quercus cornelius-mulleri, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca schidigera, etc. Generally south-facing slopes feeding toward a large canyon with weakly developed riparian scrub.
