Locality Mojave Desert: proposed 160 acre gravel quarry on Kane wash, ca. 0.5 mi west of Fort Cady Rd. at a point 2 miles south of I-40, ca. 5 miles (air) SE of Newberry Springs, between Troy Lake and the Rodman Mountains., East of the Newberry Mountains.
Elevation 575m
HabitatRocky alluvial slope with creosote bush scrub washes. Annual flora generally sparse, but plants sometimes large in the washes, though still relatively few. Schismus, Cryptantha angustifolia, Camissoina claviformis and Chroizanthe brevicornu fairly common.
