HabitatRugged, rocky slopes of limestone, canyon bottom with cobbles to boulders of carbonate and noncarbonate rocks. Vegetation open stands of Pinus monophylla, Juniperus osteosperma, with Rhus trilobata, Prunus fasciculata, Opuntia phaeacantha, Opuntia ursina, Garrya flavescens, Fallugia paradoxa, Brickellia californica, and Agave utahensis.
