Locality Hills north of Warner Springs, Indian Flats Campground of Cleveland National Forest along Road 9S05.
HabitatSlopes with mature stands of Adenostoma sparsifolium, Ceanothus greggii perplexans, Adenostoma fasciculatum, and Gutierrezia sarothrae on thin soils over granitic bedrock with extensive boulder outcrops. Shallow draws with stands of Muhlenbergia rigens, Lonicera subspicata, Rosa californica, and Rhus trilobata on sandy benches bordered by Quercus agrifolia woodland.
