Open Pinus monophylla woodland with sagebrush scrub including Grayia spinosa, Ephedra viridis, Artemisia tridentata, Purshia tridentata, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Hesperostipa comata, Phacelia bicolor, Cryptantha, Chenopodium.
