HabitatSteep grazed slopes above dry wash originating in springs on NE base of Sagehen Peak. Soft pumice soil with bishop tuff rhyolite outcrops. Artemisia tridentata / Purshia tridentata scrub with Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Grayia spinosa, Achnatherum hymenoides, Ephedra viridis, Prunus andersonii.
