HabitatDisturbed roadside on coarse pumice soil, with road cinders. Adjacent slopes of Pinus jeffryi forest with Artemisia tridentata / Purshia tridenta understory. With Salsola tragus, Ambrosia acanthacarpa, Phacelia hastata, Eriasstrum sparsiflorum, Eriogonum esmeraldense, Sisymbrium altissimum.
