Lodgepole Forest up Branch into nw-se sect.; on s-se facing slope on n. side of canyon some Juniperus with P. monticola, P. Murrayana; on s. side the two pines and some Tsuga in protected places; P. albicaulis start at 10,000-10,500'; Alpine Fell-fields begin on Mt. Hilgard at 11500'.
