Notes<coords cont.: SE1/4>; Low foothills north of the 210 freeway. We followed the firebreak southwest. This ridge had burned in August of 1999. Lotus scoparius was the dominant plant. Other plant species include: Adenostoma fasciculatum, (few resprouting) Ceanothus crassifolius, (saplings 1-2 feet tall) Malosma laurina, Quercus berberidifolia, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca whipplei, Salvia mellifera, Hirschfeldia incana, Helianthus gracilentus, Helianthemum scoparium vulgare, Calystegia macrostegia intermedia, Chorizanthe staticoides, Eriastrum sapphirinum, Trichostema lanatum, Hazardia squarrosa grindelioides, Malacothrix saxatilis tenuifolia and not many of Chaenactis artemisiifolia and Phacelia grandiflora.;
