HabitatClose to the east side of wash, north of Angeles Crest Highway (Hwy. 2) At end of old dirt road (looks abandoned) that was a dump site. A Forest Service plantation close by. Pinus monophylla growing on east side of slopes. Associated in creek are: Pinus jeffreyi, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Artemisia tridentata, Tetradymia canescens, Purshia tridentata glandulosa, Achnatherum parishii, A. speciosum, Arabis pulchra gracilis, Gilia modocensis, Descurainia sophia, D. pinnata glabra, Pectocarya penicillata, Cryptantha circumscissa, Calyptridium monandrum, Stanleya pinnata, Astragalus lentiginosus antonius, Bromus tectorum and Erodium cicutarium.
