Notes<coords cont.: NW1/4>; Unnamed canyon that Hostetter road follows to near the main crest. Could be La Tuna Canyon as this is near the head of that canyon. If this is La Tuna Canyon, then the canyon makes a turn from daining to the west, turns south so the drainage is north. These collections are around the bend in the canyon. The canyon is narrower here and very thick with brush, as the canyon is not very incised into the mountains. A small water flow at this time mostly small pools here and there. Other plant species include: Salix lasiolepis, Salix sp., Baccharis salicifolia, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Platanus racemosa, Quercus durata gabrielensis, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Umbellularia californica, Sambucus mexicana, Spartium junceum, Cercocarpus betuloides, Datisca glomerata, Artemisia douglasiana, A. californica, Mimulus aurantiacus, M. floribundus, Lilium humboldtii ocellatum, Juncus macrophyllus, J. xiphioides, Geranium rotundifolium, Potentilla glandulosa, Bromus diandrus, Melica imperfecta, Cirsium occidentale occidentale, Phacelia ramosissima latifolia, Rubus ursinus, Ageratina adenophora, Lathyrus vestitus, Stellaria media, Galium aparine, Brickellia californica, Solanum douglasii, Dryopteris arguta, Rumex crispus and Symphoricarpos mollis.;
