HabitatDeep narrow canyon running S-N, with perennial stream cutting through Bishop tuff rhyolite. Steep 30 deg NE-facing slope of soft pumice alluvium and rhyolite outcrops above. Open Pinus jeffryi woodland with occasional P. monophylla, Holodiscus microphylla, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Chaenactis douglassii.
