Habitat30 degree SE-facing slope of soft pumice sand and gravel and bishop tuff rhyolite outcrops above. Open Artemisia tridentata scrub with occasional Pinus jeffryi, Purshia tridentata, Eriogonum umbellatum, Ribes cereum, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Achnatherum hymenoides, Phacelia bicolor.
